Med School Faculty Highly Recommends
I teach cardiovascular physiology in an osteopathic medical school and I highly recommend this book to my students. I have included it on the list of materials in the syllabus. The language of the text and the construction of the diagrams are both very concise, straight-forward, accurate and easy to understand. The basic science underpinnings of clinical application is just right - not so much you drown in irrelevant reductionist minutia, but yet not so light that you aren't able to make the connections. No matter what level you are, if you want a good resource to help you connect the basic principles of cardiovascular physiology to the practice of cardiovascular medicine this is a great book.

From class room to practice
Highly recommended reading for medical students, PA's, and NP's. The read is easy to follow and does an excellent job of explaining pathophysiology concepts.
